Andrea Thompson Chicago Reader For anyone who has some stamina left for metahuman fare, it’ll likely do something truly remarkable: leave them eager for whatever comes next. Dec 11, 2024 Full Review Ben Travers indieWire Now he’s at it again with Creature Commandos, and while the third time isn’t exactly the charm, its easy-going, character-first approach to another story about incarcerated criminals thrust together to save the world largely works to its advantage. Rated: C+ Dec 6, 2024 Full Review Rafael Motamayor TheWrap ... A fun, endearing start to a new cinematic universe that offers gore, thrills, laughs, and emotions galore. Dec 6, 2024 Full Review Víctor López G. Espinof James Gunn confirms with a splash of adult animation that the DC Universe is in very good hands, offering a new cocktail of violence packed action, over-the-top comedy, and a huge heart. Dec 27, 2024 Full Review Isaiah Colbert io9.com Not only does the show pack a lot of information, sleek action, and side-splitting comedy into its 22-minute premiere episodes, Creature Commandos also carries on Gunn’s penchant for endearing viewers to previously unknown, imperfect heroes. Dec 23, 2024 Full Review KT Mahe For Your Reference Podcast James Gunn does it again with a new misfit crew to pour our hearts into. While there have been more than a few animated shows for adults in the recent years, not many do it better than Creature Commandos! Rated: 4.5/5 Dec 18, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Brandon J Fantastic show! Great action! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/19/25 Full Review Tristen N This show was definitely interesting, and made me care of the characters. The backstories were emotional and heartbreaking, but I wished It didn't take up too much if the stories plot. The humor can be funny at times while some are kinda meh. Cameos and references were cool. The plot twist was interesting but it just kept going back and fourth on who the villian is. The ending to the final was emotional but also kinda meh with the villian, but the new characters were going to see for season 2 got me hyped for it. Overall rating 7.8/10 Dr phosphorus, The Bride & GI ROBOT Are my top 3 characters. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/18/25 Full Review Peter R This is VERY James Gunnish... basically what would happen if you took The Suicide Squad (2021) and Peacemaker... and had an animated baby. Gunn is obviously in his comfort zone here, delivering another brilliant series. The writing is solid, the characters well written (with very good back stories), and the plot is a great blend of humour, gore, and music. The voice acting was fantastic and the animation well done. At this point the only thing I'm wondering about is if DC can be remade in Gunn's image and be successful? I'm looking forward to Superman and the rest of the new movies with much more interest and optimism now but do wonder how Superman, Batman and the Justice League will feel with this style... I'm leaning towards... it might just work! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/25 Full Review Zaraki K Amazing, Amazing. what a masterpiece Sir James Gunn!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/25 Full Review Anthony S Originally! before 2 years when i heard about it i was'nt looking forward with it. But, after watching entire season I had to admit it's best than previous outings in 2023 Dceu films. It gives a perfect example of this new universe what's it like, What is there to expect & continue to look like. Action, direction and plot is good, I like the idea of visiting member's own struggles, stories & personal, emotional fallout. However, due to shorter runtime it diminishes some of moments & elements, Also the ending felt very rushed, lightweight & lacking high stake actions. But, still way better than what if S-3. Hoping season 2 will come out & will shine brighter then ever before. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/16/25 Full Review André Ferreira F ?timo come?o para o DCU! Personagens intrigantes, uma boa anima??o e uma fantástica banda sonora. Apesar de tudo, por ser demasiado curta, alguns momentos parecem demasiado precipitados. (avalia??o: 7.5/10) Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/16/25 Full Review Read all reviews
