I've seen ALL of the Dune films since the original release in 1984 and watched in the Theater. This new series is a slow burn, drawn out sequences on the origins of the Bene Gesserits. You will be in for a huge disappointment, if you were looking forward to watching the original great hand-to-hand fighting scenes or any of the incredible tech weapons from the '84 film. Few if any sand worm scenes. Watcher beware!
