Teeming with heady concepts and themes, Paradise is an overstuffed but addictively ambitious reunion of Sterling K. Brown and creator Dan Fogelman.

Doreen St. Felix The New Yorker Much of “Paradise” is hammy as hell... Marsden and Brown are actors who know how to harness the saccharine, though, burning sugar in order to give the narrative dimension. Mar 8, 2025 Full Review Liz Shannon Miller Consequence What was most exciting about this first season of Paradise was the momentum it was able to maintain —?it had big “limited series” energy, each episode playing like creator Dan Fogelman wasn’t holding anything back for a second season. Mar 4, 2025 Full Review Wenlei Ma The Nightly (AU) Sterling K. Brown is eminently watchable and a gifted actor who persuasively sells the roiling emotions inside Xavier. Feb 19, 2025 Full Review Kathleen Newman-Bremang Refinery29 The absurdity and sincerity of Paradise is its strength. Mar 25, 2025 Full Review Susan Granger SSG Syndicate Ready, set - stream the most exciting new drama series of 2025! Created by Dan Fogelman with multi-layered, thought-provoking Biblical allusions, this action-packed political thriller combines a sci-fi apocalyptic theme with a compelling whodunnit. Rated: 8/10 Mar 10, 2025 Full Review Chase Hutchinson IGN Movies Paradise doesn’t care for subtlety, though this is a feature, not a bug. The talented likes of Brown, Marsden, and Julianne Nicholson make the most of this pulpy material even when the story feels like it’s on the verge of collapse. Kristian G Great show, I genuinely looked forward to watching the next episode all day whilst at work. All the acting was great, but Brown and Marsden really did amazing jobs! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/27/25 Full Review Audience Member My Suprise TV Series of the Year WOW WOW WOW! I love this show. Great Compelling Story! Great acting Superb cast. absolute Must See! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/27/25 Full Review Mara D Best series of 2025! For those of you whom haven't seen it yet, don't read up on it, just watch to get all the surprises. Great cast, great storyline, and good filmography. It's a great mix of several venues that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/25/25 Full Review Brian D 78%. 3/24/25. Entertaining show, kind of a Silo type. Didn't love all the flashbacks. Liked the main character a lot. The last two episodes are really good when you see the catastrophic event and the President and his cabinet reacting to the news and having to tell the American people and then seeing everyone in the White House go into survival mode. Felt like the movie 2012. Solid show, 3/5 rewatch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/25/25 Full Review Rob M Absolutely stunning performances from Brown and others compliment a brilliant and quite frankly believable dystopian near-futuristic thriller turned who-dunnit. The creation undercut only slightly by a contrived and disappointing finale that sets up future seasons that was REALLY not needed and shouldn't have been shoehorned in. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/23/25 Full Review Jimmy S Do you remember the matrix? Do you remember the moment that you went?, " oh my God!!" This series has one of those moments in the first episode. but it just gets better from there. it's political intrigue. it's a murder mystery. it's a who done it. And all of that is encased in a sci-fi post-apocalyptic world. I don't know who came up with the idea of this series, but they need to make an awful lot more of them!
