Margaret Lyons New York Times A decent enough medical drama with promising episodes as it develops. Jan 15, 2025 Full Review Robert Lloyd Los Angeles Times Whether or not “The Pitt” reflects the life of an actual emergency room... it has a convincing energy. Jan 14, 2025 Full Review Craig Mathieson Sydney Morning Herald As a judgment on America’s profit-first health system, the show is condemnatory without being too specific. It’s more interesting in how it sees the staff. They are frontline heroes as healthcare workers, but flawed as individuals. Rated: 3/5 Jan 13, 2025 Full Review Erin Maxwell LA Weekly/Village Voice The result is a performance that portrays the exasperations of the medical profession, the predatory and mercenary nature of insurance companies and financial operations, and the poor patients who are caught in between. Jan 16, 2025 Full Review Alberto Carlos Espinof ...'The Pitt' is a solid, addictive medical drama...with a lot of heart. An excellent series that can stand up alongside the greats of its genre. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 4/5 Jan 16, 2025 Full Review Dustin Rowles Pajiba The real star of The Pitt is its relentless pace. The show moves moves moves. It’s so tightly wound that a 55-minute episode feels like 20, leaving you gasping at the credits like, “Nope! Nonono no! Not yet! Where’s the Next Episode button?” Jan 13, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Ingrid R Finally! They focused on the stories of the patients than the staff. Does not shy away from the real issues that medical staff face. Noah Wyle should get involved in every medical show from here on out. Great casting, great story, great pace! I am absolutely obsessed with the accuracy since ER. Well done. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/18/25 Full Review Marlon B Pfff, I couldn't get through the first five minutes. Same old writing; every sentence spoken is an explanation of some plot point. Patriotic American storylines... I've seen it all before. I'm not interested. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/25 Full Review Cindy S Outstanding show, it puts you right there in the ER. I worked for a hospital for 10 years and I am happy to see a medical show that isn't wrapped in a soap opera Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/18/25 Full Review P C The Pitt was entertaining in episode 1 and 2, but when I realized the entire season is to be based on a single 12 hour shift within the ER, it became instantly repetitive. The show seems technically correct in ER life and the way patient care is handled, but there is no character interaction off duty and seems that there may be none this season since each episode represents a single hour in the ER. Without that off duty interaction, it is not for me. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/18/25 Full Review Debra I I just finished the 3rd episode. I'm hooked! Very fast-paced, realistic story telling. I'm a big Noah Wyle fan; however, each actor including the revolving door of patients that come into The Pitt are extremely good. I think this is a new technique for telling medical stories and will be very successful. Sorta like a cross between ER and 24.
