Sarah Knight Adamson Sarah's Backstage Pass The characters’ storylines are so well developed that you can predict what they will do in a situation, which makes you feel even more connected and invested in their lives. Rated: 4/4 Jan 7, 2025 Full Review Joel Keller Decider Virgin River continues to be the best comfort shows on streaming, mainly because the characters and their easygoing chemistry with each other is now so well-established. Dec 24, 2024 Full Review Chris Joyce Movies and Munchies (YouTube) The characters are enjoyable and the season includes a few surprises for fans, but the series also works against itself by depriving the characters and storylines adequate time to flesh out their plots so as to fully engage and connect with the audience. Rated: 2/5 Dec 21, 2024 Full Review Jasmine Blu TV Fanatic The season tempers much of the drama, and we got to wrap ourselves in the culmination of Mel and Jack’s love story. diana h The usual poor acting performances. Boring story. The only positive was the nice scenery. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/10/25 Full Review Bryan W Very well written and produced season. Wedding of Jack and Mel is one of Hollywoods best. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/25 Full Review john n I guess I was a little worried when Jack got on the horse and rode away. Likewise when he and Mel rode away - WTH? Brie getting together with Brady is not going to work well. I think Doc is going to be forced out, but fights for the clinic to be run by Mel and the doc who came to the wedding ( forget his name). He and Murial will get back together while she does her breast cancer thing. By now, I think the vast majority of us have had our fill with Hope. Looking forward to more of this series. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/03/25 Full Review SkyRo P This show is utterly mesmerizing; it draws you in and makes you yearn to be part of this charming small town. Much like the setting of Virgin River, it gives off a vibe that once you arrive, you won’t want to leave. The emotional connection it fosters is truly remarkable. Mel is perfectly cast in her role, showcasing exceptional character development that resonates throughout the series. It’s a delight to see Annette O'Toole as Hope again. While her character may be a bit irritating, that’s exactly the point—she fits seamlessly into the ensemble. Even if you’re unfamiliar with some of the cast, you can’t help but feel a desire to know them and to be included in their close-knit community. Characters like Vernon and Jack may leave you uncertain about your feelings toward them, but as the story unfolds, you begin to empathize with their journeys. Preacher, along with the rest of the cast, delivers phenomenal performances that enhance the overall experience. I wholeheartedly recommend diving into Virgin River—you won’t regret it. This series captures your attention from the very start, especially during the thrilling moments of the first season, making you feel fully engaged with the characters and their lives. The second season continues to captivate, building on the foundation laid in the first and introducing new faces, like Preacher, who steps into a more significant role. The drama, tension, and unexpected twists will leave you eager to learn more about these characters and what lies ahead. However, the third season falls short, feeling somewhat lackluster and confusing. It left me questioning whether the series could regain its momentum, as the storylines seemed stagnant and disconnected, leading me to believe it might be the end. Fortunately, season four reignites the spark, pulling you back in with captivating story arcs, and season five builds on that momentum beautifully. The growth of the characters and the re-emergence of vital storylines that were lacking in season three create a rich viewing experience, particularly with the unfolding drama surrounding Preacher and the murder in town. Season six picks up where the previous seasons left off, presenting breathtaking moments alongside some of the most heart-wrenching scenes that make you feel the impending conclusion of the series. It’s a beautifully crafted story filled with unforgettable moments, and the creators have done a remarkable job throughout the entire series. I genuinely encourage you to take the time to watch all the seasons because it truly is an extraordinary show. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/02/25 Full Review Marilyn D Love this show watched all six seasons very attached to the cast can't wait for season 7 Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/01/25 Full Review Silver S Soap opera style and weak writing. Unlikeable casting. In a word, boring. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/31/24 Full Review Read all reviews
